Dialogue 1 Finding the carousel 找行李轉盤
Customer：Excuse me. Could you tell me where I can claim my luggage?
Attendant：Let’s see…you came in on Flight 271. Your bags will be on carousel three in the baggage claim area.
Customer：Thanks. And how do I get there from here?
Attendant： Just take a left down that hallway and follow the signs. You can’t miss it.
顧客：不好意思，可以告訴我要去哪領行李嗎？
服務員：我看看……你是二七一班機，你的行李會在行李領取處的三號轉盤。
顧客：謝謝。我要怎麼從這裡過去？
服務員：左轉沿著走廊然後跟著指標走，你就會看到了。
Dialogue 2 Lost luggage 遺失行李
Customer：Excuse me. I can’t find my luggage. I had two red bags, both with checkered print.
Attendant：OK. You need to go to the baggage claim office and fill out a lost luggage form.
Customer：Do you think they’ll find my bags?
Attendant：They usually find them within a day and deliver them straight to your home within 24 hours.
顧客：不好意思，我找不到我的行李。我有兩件紅色行李，都是方格紋的。
服務員：好的。你要到行李領取處填行李遺失單。

行李遺失怎麼辦？
為了從一大堆行李中迅速找出自己的行李，也避免相似的行李被人領走， 你可以在行李上放上自己的「名牌」name tag，或貼上「貼紙」sticker。
倘若你在「行李轉盤」baggage carousel 前遲遲等不到自己的行李，那麼有兩種可能，一種是行李延誤，另一種則是行李遺失了！不論是哪種情況，你都可以拿著「行李存根」baggage claim tag 到「行李領取中心」baggage claim office/counter/
center，找服務人員幫忙。

基本上，到了行李招領中心，開場白應該都是：I lost my luggage. Here’s my claim tag.這時候請務必清楚地描述行李款式，例如究竟是「硬皮箱」hardside suitcase、「背包」backpack、還是「筒狀旅行袋」duffel bag 等。假如你的行李箱有輪子，記得加上with wheels 即可。
要是你發現行李在運送過程中，受到碰撞或擠壓，你也可以到行李招領中心去「申請損害賠償」file a claim，不過通常都是「二十四小時以內」within 24 hours 必須提出申請。
【Currency Exchange兌換外幣】

Customer：I’d like to exchange U.S. dollars for renminbi. What’s the exchange rate?
Attendant：The current exchange rate is 6.6 renminbi to the dollar.
Customer：OK. I’d like to change 800 dollars.
Attendant：All right. That comes to 5,280 renminbi. Please remember to keep your receipt if you want to change your remaining renminbi back to dollars.
顧客：我想把美金換成人民幣，匯率是多少？

Attendant：OK. Just go out that door over there and you’ll see the shuttle stop to your left. Shuttles come about every five minutes.
